4 DAYS KIDEPO NATIONAL PARK SAFARI

Kidepo Valley National Park is a virgin national park that is located in a savannah landscape next to some mountainous bodies. The park’s Narus Valley is a grassland plain with permanent water that is a gathering place for the park’s wildlife.

Kidepo also has a number of wild animals, though mostly seen during the wet/ rainy season. Both areas are good for game drives in that they provide great views for wild animals such as giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, lions, leopards, and Uganda kobs, among others. Ziwa rhino sanctuary allows you to track rhinos and see other game that were recently introduced, our 4 days safari plan is as follows;

Day 1. Ziwa rhino sanctuary and gulu.

After your breakfast, our driver will Take you to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking and you will also be able to see zebras and antelopes as they were recently introduced, then transfer to Gulu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2. Gulu – Kidepo Valley National Park –

Drive to Kidepo via Kitgum and have an evening game drive or cultural tour among the Karamojong community. Being a nomad community, the culture of the karamojogs is an interesting one to be part of.

Day 3. Kidepo Valley National Park

You will have early breakfast or choose to park yours and have it during the morning game drive, be on the look out for elephants, lions, cheetahs, wield beasts, buffalos, giraffes, ostriches and other game. You will also have an evening game drive as this gives you the opportunity to see animals that you might have missed out in the morning game drive

Day 4. Drive back to kampala/entebbe

On your last day you will have an early or packed breakfast and transfer back to kampala as it is a long distance to cover with a stop over in gulu for lunch and drive back to Kampala or Entebbe
