5 DAYS MURCHISION FALLS, SOURCE OF THE NILE AND SIPI FALLS SAFARI

These 5 days safari takes you to Murchison Falls National Park to see the Big Five, we also make a stop over at the Rhino Sanctuary.  It also takes you to the eastern part of Uganda to sipi falls and also a visit to the source of the Nile.

This Ugandan safari takes 5 days, with 2 nights spent in Murchison Falls at any of your preferred lodges and 2 nights in Sipi Falls.

Day 1: Source of the Nile tour and transfer to Sipi falls

Our driver/guide will Pick you up from your lodge or hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and drive to jinja through Mabira Forest for a boat cruise to discover the source of the world’s longest river were you will spot some beautiful birds and reptiles along the banks of river nile. You will have lunch in jinja after your boat cruise and thereafter transfer to Sipi Falls Lodge/ rafiki lodge/Home of Friends Lodge and sipi valley resort via Mbale City for dinner and overnight.

Day 2. Discovering sipi falls

Sipi falls is located along the slopes of mount elgon and You will start your day with a 3 hours hike to the water falls of sipi. This hike takes you through the Sipi community thereafter you will go back to the lodge for lunch. Your afternoon will be filled with a coffee experience were the guide will take you to local  coffee farms and also explain the entire process of making coffee right from a seedling. The day closes with a sun set viewing experience at the most prestigious view point were you can choose to have coffee or a beer.

Day 3. Murchison falls

After breakfast we Transfer to Murchison falls with a drive through the northern side of the country. You will gte to the see the flat plains of the country and stop over in Lira city for lunch before procceding to murchision falls for dinner and overnight stay (paraa safari lodge, redchili lodge and sambiya river lodge)

Day 4. Murchision falls natonal park

You will have breakfast at the lodge and drive out for Morning game drive with your guide or game rangeron the famous queens trail where you should be on the look out for water buffalos, water bucks, elephants, giraffes, Uganda kobs lions, leopards and other game. You can either have packed lunch or return to the lodge for lunch and after proceed for a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. While here you should be on the lookout for hippos, crocodiles, water birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 5. Top of the water falls tour via ziwa rhino sanctuary and to kampala/entebbe

After breakfast we shall drive to the top of the water falls at the bakers summit were you will experience the sound of water as its rapids go through the western rift valley . transfer to ziwa rhino sanctuary  for rhino tracking were you will complete the sight of the African big five. You will have lunch at the rhino sanctuary and drive back to kampala or Entebbe
